The venue is located in Enfield, Co. Meath. The Johnstown Estate is just 35 minutes from Dublin city centre, it's extremely convenient for guests travelling from all over the globe. This 1750s rural residence is set on 120 acres of parkland and overlooks the river Blackwater. You can choose to have your civil ceremony indoors in the newly renovated Civil Ceremony Room or outdoors.
The glorious grounds at The Johnstown Estate offer charming settings for your important photographs. The landscaped garden is ideal for mingling with all of your guests during a drink’s reception. The landscaped gardens are full of nooks and crannies that make incredible backdrops for wedding portraits, and this can also be the setting for your drinks reception. The team can even arrange an outdoor gin bar, so you and your guests can toast the marriage in style!

The Johnstown Estate is home to 122 spectacular bedrooms, six suites, and 40 luxury, self-catering lodges, so there's plenty of room on-site for your guests, should they wish to stay the night, or even the whole weekend! The venue's suite, The Mulberry, makes for an outrageously cool getting-ready space for you and your bridesmaids.
With a focus on elegant and boldly flavourful cuisine, using as many locally-sourced ingredients as possible, the kitchen team are happy to design a five, six, or seven-course menu for you and your guests, and there are lots of options for pre-wedding dining and day-after parties, too, including luxurious spins on buffet-style dinners and BBQs.
