Sitting on the banks of the River Nore, Mount Juliet is an upscale wedding venue located in Thomastown, Co Kilkenny. This luxury estate is home is surrounded by 500 acres of lush countryside and a world-class golf course. The venue has multiple spots for a wedding ceremony. Each spot each offers a slightly different perspective from a wedding photo perspective. You can have your wedding ceremony at the Manor House itself or the Hunters Yard. Either way Mount Juliet is a perfect setting for wedding photos. The Manor House is used for weddings that have up to 96 guests. The Hunters yard for larger weddings up to 200 wedding guests.
There are just so many stunning locations throughout the grounds for photos. One of my favourite is the famous ‘Moongate’ in the walled gardens. It truly is a photographer's paradise.
The Ceremony
It was a big pleasure to photograph Keith and Lisa's wedding at Mount Juliet in Co. Kilkenny. Keith and Lisa's ceremony took place at the Walled garden. Truly, this intimate outdoor ceremony will forever be special. Not just because of how glorious the weather and views were. It will be be special because of how emotional and love-filled the day was.
